We had a relaxing morning enjoying sleeping in and getting a few things done at home. Then we made the trek to North Head, a cool army reserve with guns and tunnels and a gorgeous view of the city. I knew my dad would love it! We lucked out with beautiful weather. We enjoyed exploring a few tunnels and took lots of pictures.
We then drove through the cute town of Devonport, walked the pier, and let the kids play on the playground.
For my parents' Christmas gifts, we gifted them tickets to the top of Sky Tower. So we headed into the city to pick up Cody from work. We then walked thru the city to a place for meat pies for dinner and continued on to Sky Tower. Sky Tower is 1,076 feet tall and the 25th tallest building in the world. We took an elevator to the top and awed at the breathtaking 360 view! There were a few places where the floor was made of glass so it looked like you were standing on the city. We got to see a few bungee jumpers jump from the very top. It was a very cool experience!
