Christmas in New Zealand
Our Christmas was pretty relaxing and we loved it! The kids woke us all up at 6:30 so excited to open presents. Santa brought the older boys fins & boogie boards, Trevor a green ukulele & beach soccer ball, and Reese a kick board & sand toys. They got exactly what they wanted! Our Christmas was simple this year since our main gift was touring the South Island. We had a delicious breakfast of big breakfast burritos and then got ready for church. It was fun to meet Mike & Lois' ward members. I helped some of the women sing "Silent Night" in German, Moari, and Samoan (even though I don't know any of those languages!). It was a beautiful meeting. We had a nice afternoon playing with our new things and getting ready for our long trip. We had a yummy ham dinner and delicious dessert with poppers to pop for the kids. It was a lovely Christmas and we were so glad we could spend it with family.
