Orewa Estuary Bike Path

Most of the family came down with a mild bug that left us feeling blah for a few days (tummy aches, headaches, sore throats). But we were getting stir crazy so we headed out for some fresh air. We've been wanting to try out the 8k bike path just 15 minutes away and since we finally got a trailer hitch installed on our van, we were able to use our bike rack to help make it happen. It was a clear chilly day but we enjoyed being outside and exploring. Our boys are great little bike riders and Reese was my bike buddy in her special bike seat on the back of my bike. We loved riding down to the beach and watching the wind surfers in the water. What a fun sight! We could have stayed out there for hours watching them. We will definitely be back many times to do this again!
