On the Saturdays when we're not off exploring and being adventurers, we're usually found home enjoying a lazy day…but that doesn't happen too often! This particular Saturday, Cody had just gotten his new drone (DJI Mavic Pro) and we all loved watching him figure it out. We took the drone out to the huge field next to our house and Cody played around with the settings and learned how to fly his new toy.
If the weather is nice, we'll definitely venture out to our backyard beach. We've played on our beach countless times, but never had we noticed the MILLIONS of crabs! At low tide there are tons of little shells that move around….with tiny crabs in them! They would inhabit a tiny shell, a broken shell, or larger shells. We even saw one change shells. It was amazing to see the little critters scurrying around. They have their own little colonies! We all loved collecting & gathering them and making little homes for them. It was really awesome. Sometimes if you don't stop to slow down and notice what's around you, you'll completely miss amazing things.
