The Sun Came Out to Play!

We have missed our Saturdays of fun since it's been raining on our parade each weekend. This Saturday, it rained all morning and then we had a baptism to attend in the early afternoon. As we were driving home, the sun came out to shine so we hurried home to go outside to play! It was a simple walk along our backyard beach but ended up being hours of fun as we explored, rode bikes, walked, climbed & jumped off trees, and enjoyed the gorgeous blue sky and sunny breeze. Cody performed his act of service for the day by helping rescue a car that had ventured too far in the sand. The water became too tempting for Reese so she started wading her way home. One thing led to another and she soon fell all the way in as we laughed hysterically at her! She popped right up and kept on splashing away. She was freezing by the time we walked home but we had a great afternoon doing what we do best…exploring and enjoying life =)
