Friday Nights

Since our new life in New Zealand, we have made every Friday evening Pizza & Movie Night. It has been a fun and simple tradition that we have all loved. It's great to gather at the end of the week and relax all was a family.

Ethan is on a school futsal team so his games are after school on Fridays. Cody was at an awards dinner for work late Friday night so it was just me and my kiddos this time around. After school we all went to cheer Ethan on in his game. We made it home and the beach was calling our name. So we quickly unloaded, slipped off our shoes, and headed down to our beach for a quick stroll. We all loved being out in the cool breezy evening enjoying the sunset, waves, and sand. We hurried home, showered, put the pizzas in the oven, got our movie ready for the night and settled in for a nice and warm night at home. I sure love the simplicity and small pleasures of life sometimes and being all together. Life is good.
